The cache is a average size rubbermaid container with a screw on lid to protect it from moisture and the winter elements. Inside you will find various goodies to choose from, but please leave the pencils for other cachers! The cache is located not too far off the main path and even in winter is not visible to the eye. The location listed at the top of this page was done with my friends Magellan gps companion and will give a more accurate reading within 6 ft or so. You can park at the street in front of the park at:
N 41° 22.691 / W 081° 41.866
Adoptees Additonal Note: You may also park at the West Creek Gateway parking lot @ 41° 23.432' N 081° 41.789' W and combine this cache with the other caches also located in West Creek Preserve. Cache well, and see you around the bend.
If you have a Garmin Etrex, such as myself, your reading will be off by at least 30 ft or so. The only warning for this cache is winter. Some of the trails are very slippery and hard to hike, so bring a change of shoes or boots! :)
Additional: Adoptee has an E-trex and has had various degrees of success with accuracy of coordinates, but they'll get you close enough that you'll be able to use the Force (tm) quite successfully to find it. Trails may also be slippery in periods of extreme wet, so use caution both hiking in and while searching. :)
Happy Caching!!
