This cache was placed with the permission and assistance of the Canton Park District, in Canton's Lakeland Park
This is a pretty straight-forward cache. Please bring your own writing utensil. For closest parking park at N 40 35.027 W 090 03.116. From there the cache is 1/4 of a mile away on a wide paved trail. The cache is Handicap accesible. At the parking cords you will find The Steve Nagel Space Center playground which is dedicated to Steve Nagel, America's 100th person in space. He was born in Canton and learned to fly in this area which used to be the Canton Airport. There are also restrooms and a pavilion. The park has 5 fishing lakes with 7.4 miles of shorline and 105 acres of water. Fishing and scuba diving are alowed by permit which can be obtained in the park. The park hours are 6:30 am until 9:00 pm. The park also has 5 miles of paved biking and hiking trails. I hope you enjoy this cache. Enjoy the view from the cache.
