Round Roadford is a series of caches based on my favourite cycle ride, although you can drive, run or even walk it – I have done all four.
Total Distance is about 13 miles. I can’t tell you how long it will take as I have inherited the family trait of stopping often and looking into field gateways, over hedges and invariably for a ‘brew’.
Many places to park, my route starts near The Mollinis crew’s ‘Road ahead flooded’ GCF3E9 N 50° 41.599 W 004° 13.667 because the parking is free.
If you like cache and dash – you should be able to stop safely pretty close to most of them. This one you can't but it's a nice stroll from the car park at 'It's a picnic'
Caches vary in size and type and I hope there is something for everyone.
Whichever way you have approached this one, you will now have to go uphill but it’s not as bad as the sign makes out.
I do hope Brian hasn’t done a runner!
Many thanks to SW Lakes Trust for permission to place this one - you might want to reward them by stopping off for a snack at the cafe on the way around.
