Geocache Description:

This cache was inspired by the cache “The Whole 9 Yards” placed by vanm in 2006 and then archived in 2008. I didn’t have the opportunity to find the cache but I have heard from several cachers who said they really enjoyed it and the logs confirmed that it was a challenging, fun cache. If you have found this cache then you will have some clue as to what to expect from my cache.

I am dedicating this cache to one of the most talked about and prolific cachers in my area. It is at this very spot on 11/5/06 that IMSpider began his caching career by finding “The Whole 9 Yards” and a caching legend was born. Here is his very first log:

As of 08/11/13 he has found 48,103 caches and has found at least one every day for 2,339 consecutive days. Not bad! He has since moved from the area so this cache is calling him back to visit where his obsession first started.
This cache will bring you to the top of the cliffs with a wonderful view of the world. While kids can safely travel to the area, I would not advise you let them search for this cache. No climbing is necessary but you will have to reach the edge of the cliff to retrieve this cache. Afraid of heights? You might want to bring a partner along who isn't to make the retrieval. Park in the main "view" lot, where there is easy access to the white trail.
