The is an average sized food container and contains a log and pen. Just a few steps off the path. (Update: The cache had to be moved a couple of feet from its original spot due to theft. Any photo spoilers prior to June 2012 will not be accurate!)
On your way up from lay-bay over the road by the industrial estate or Tyddyn Llwyn campsite. The first pit stop clearing you come to is the saddle, take a seat and have some water. Moel-y-Gest rises steeply above the town of Porthmadog in the southeast of Llyn. At only 262m this hill really does feel much higher than it actually is and offers spectacular views across the town, estuary and neighbouring mountains of Snowdonia, as well as along the south coast of Llyn.
