Cache is placed in Papamoa Domain at the junction of Papamoa Beach Rd & Domain Rd
As you enter the domain the first facility you find is the Bluebiyou restaurant, bar & function centre. Next is The Top 10 Holiday Resort. This boasts tent & caravan sites, budget & luxury villas right on the beach. Down the hill to a parking area & the main swimming beach. Further around is more parking & Papamoa Surf Rescue Base. The foundation members were & still are the Surf Lifesaving Club,Papamoa Lions & Papamoa Scouts & Guides.A walkway from this point takes you to a viewing platform which aknowledges the Maori Iwi & whaka they arrived in to the bay. Past this point is further parking & a small boat launching area. The whole domain particularly in the summer is a hive of activity which means lots of muggles. I would the best time to do the cache would be early morning or late evening. I would also suggest having family or friends with you. Could work as a human shield.
