Hear Ye, Hear Ye, Come one come all, to the Marble Springs
Autumn Geocaching event. Marble Springs is the home of John Sevier,
Revolutionary War hero and Tennessee's first governor.
There will be reenactors in 18th century attire to give guided
tours and answer questions about the life and times of Governor
John Sevier.
There will also be fun activities such as "The Ammo Can Toss"
competition, the Tomahawk Throwing Demonstration, and free door
prizes.
This event starts at 12:00 noon and lasts until 3:00 p.m. and is
open to the general public including geocachers, non-geocachers,
history buffs, and anyone who wants to come out and enjoy the fresh
Autumn air.
This event will be at the outdoor pavillion. There will be a
campfire for hotdog and marshmallow roasting. Hotdogs, buns,
marshmallows, soft drinks and ice will be provided. Please bring a
covered dish of your best victuals.
There is no admission charge to this facility.
Please note in your log how many will be in your party and what
covered dish you will bring.
