Geocache Description:

Near survey station east of north dam

This is the first cache in a series which I have called the five lochs based on a 13.5 mile circular walk we enjoy doing. All the caches can be found independently. To get to the car park go down the C1 Straiton to Glentrool road and turn off at the Loch Bradan Water Treatment sign. Follow the road to the end. The cache is located close to the car park. It is in a small plastic container with a notebook and pen. There is a great 7-8 mile walk/cycle track around Loch Bradan along forest trails. Loch Bradan was created by the Troon Water Works (Loch Bradan Supply) in July 1912 and provides the water for the Ayr and Irvine areas. Would recommend that you take stout footwear and waterproofs. Thanks to the Forestry Commission for permission for this cache.
Congratulations to Mcbee 77 for FTF
