Geocache Description:

Cache is located just off the trail to Emma Lake near a primitive campsite. Emma Lake sits at 9300' but the gain in elevation from the trailhead is only 750' spread over a little more than a mile.

You can see beautiful Emma Lake from the Cache. It is a square cookie tin with a log, bear, monkey, light up ball, lizards, dice, light up "tire fly", metal chili pepper, dog bone shaped paper clips . . . and some stuff you can actually use. There is a $5.00 gift card for play it again sports and a half dozen individually packaged hand tied flies. I used these two patterns the day I placed the cache and caught many, many little brook trout at the lake . . . that are all still in the lake, just a bit wiser.
