If your planning a day hike, grab some caches on your way to the top of Scotchman. Make sure you research this hike and bring lots of water. It is worth the sweat.
This is the first in three to celebrate 1,000ft elevation gains from the trail head. If you have made it this far, you will be rewarded with great views of the Clark Fork Delta, Lake Pend Orielle and goats at the summit. Enjoy a quick cache off the trail.
