Leonardo's Bench Mystery Cache
StealthRT: I have really debated on this one. The container has been replaced but with the new traffic in the area I'm just not sure I am comfortable with this cache anymore. I hate to let this one go but sometimes you just have to pull the trigger. Thanks to all who found this one over the years.

A cache dedicated to everyone’s favorite Italian mathematician of the middle ages by StealthRT.
This relatively simple puzzle will take you to a clear and easy to find local benchmark. You will need to project a waypoint and do some math. The first stage is not quite handicap accessible. The second stage is handicap accessible. If you need a fully handicap accessible version of the cache, contact me and I will supply an alternate set of instructions.
In the course of geocaching, it’s impossible to not hear about benchmarking. Most folks take a pass on the activity or try one every now and then. If you have never found a benchmark you will locate one for this cache.
To find the cache and sign the log, follow the instructions below.
At the listed coordinates, locate the benchmark disk. On the benchmark you will find a prominent four-digit number.
Project a waypoint at 122 degrees for the number of feet found in the subtraction equation listed below. Some may need to do a quick bit of math or knowledge brush-up to find the second number in the equation. This projection will take you to an area where you will need to use your geosense to locate the cache. Most will want to drive to the final location.
Number on Benchmark – Fibonacci’s 12th = Projection Feet
The checksum on the projection feet is 17.
This cache was released for the enjoyment of all during the 2011 First International Geocaching Day and 2011 Kansas City Picnic Events.
