Geocache Description:

A small cache that can be done easily while strolling around Samosir island.

Due to the fact that Indonesia - especially Sumatra - is a very poorly "cached" area, here ist one! This cache is a small box hidden in Tuk Tuk at Lake Toba (Indonesian: "Danau Toba", the picture above shows a view from the hills of the Samosir backland on TukTuk). Everyone who visits North Sumatra should go to this beautiful spot on earth. And of course - log this cache!

The cache is located between two stalls that are inhabited by the Bataks most favourite food: pigs. So if you smell them, you`re on the right path. Only a couple of hundred years ago, the Batak folk living around Lake Toba was still a cannibalistic bunch of people. Today they're fortunately not keeping this habit, but love to eat pork in every imaginable shape.

Please pay attention when hiding the box again, make sure it is well hidden and can't slide away. Please also make sure no farmer-muggles are watching you.

Have fun!

Small note on cache maintenance: There is a local cache guardian. Name and contact info on file with geocaching.com.
