attraverso straordinari siti geologici ai margini del patrimonio
mondiale naturale dell’ UNESCO, e offre meravigliosi scorci

I vecchi mulini di Bulla sono stati costruiti nei secoli 18-19 e
servivano per macinare il grano che veniva coltivato nei dintorni
di Bulla. Mentre i mulini Droch e Zaramin sono in parte decaduti,
nel 1999 il Mulino Rumanon è stato restaurato ed ha ripreso a
funzionare. Durante una visita guidata ai mulini si possono
apprendere ulteriori informazioni a sfondo storico riguardo a
questo vecchio mestiere artigianale, testimone di un'antica cultura

Der Geotrail Bula - Pufels stellt anhand von 8 Schautafeln die
Entwicklungsgeschichte der weltberühmten Dolomiten (UNESCO
Weltnaturerbe) einfach skizziert dar. Der Weg bietet grandiose
Einblicke in die geologische Vergangenheit und prachtvolle
Fernblicke auf das Gröden Tal, die Raschötz, Die Geisler Gruppe,
den Sellastock, den Langkofel und die Puflatsch Alm. Auf der knapp
3stündigen Wanderung kann man die Schönheit der Landschaft genießen
und gleichzeitig interessante geologische Informationen über die

Die alten Mühlen von Pufels, oberhalb von St. Ulrich, wurden im
18.- 19. Jahrhundert gebaut und dienten dazu das in Pufels
angebaute Getreide zu mahlen. Während die Droch- und die
Zaramin-Mühle heute zum Teil verfallen sind, wurde die
Rumanon-Mühle 1999 restauriert und ist nun wieder funktionsfähig.

Durnwalder e Mussner hanno inaugurato il "Geotrail Bulla" di
Castelrotto
Il presidente della Provincia, Luis Durnwalder e
l’assessore ai lavori pubblici, Florian Mussner, hanno
inaugurato il 22 luglio il sentiero "Geotrail Bulla" di
Castelrotto realizzato dall’Ufficio geologia e prove
materiali in collaborazione con l’Ufficio parchi naturali ed
il Comune di Castelrotto.
È stato inaugurato dal presidente della Provincia, Luis
Durnwalder e dall’assessore ai lavori pubblici, Florian
Mussner, il sentiero “Geotrail Bulla” realizzato
dall’Ufficio geologia e prove materiali in collaborazione con
l’Ufficio parchi naturali ed il Comune di Castelrotto.
Il percorso al margine del patrimonio naturale UNESCO delle
Dolomiti, attraversa alcuni affioramenti geologici degni di nota.
Su otto panelli informativi è stata illustrata in modo semplice e
chiaro la storia della genesi delle Dolomiti.
Il sentiero offre una finestra sullo straordinario passato
geologico e una magnifica vista sul panorama che lo circonda: la
Val Gardena, il Rasciesa, le Odle, Seceda, il massiccio del Sella,
il Sasso Lungo ed il Bullaccia.
I pannelli illustrano non solo la genesi delle Dolomiti ma anche
come l’ecosistema del passato si sia conservato nei singoli
strati rocciosi e nei fossili.
Il Geotrail Bulla percorre il margine settentrionale della zona
sotto tutela paesaggistica dell’Alpe di Siusi che si
congiunge a Sud con l’area Patrimonio naturale UNESCO delle
Dolomiti dello Sciliar, del Catinaccio e del Latemar.
Sono proprio le Dolomiti a dare una panoramica unica degli
affascinanti processi geologici avvenuti negli ultimi 300 milioni
d’anni. Nella molteplicità della stratificazione delle rocce,
dei fossili, nonché delle mutevoli forme paesaggistiche sono
infatti perfettamente conservate le testimonianze degli ambienti
del passato.
Nel corso della cerimonia di inaugurazione il presidente Durnwalder
ha sottolineato l’importanza di conoscere ed apprezzare le
bellezze naturalistiche di cui l’Alto Adige è così ricco ed
il sentiero con le sue tavole illustrative in quattro lingue è un
esempio tangibile di ciò che viene fatto dalla Provincia per
valorizzare appieno il patrimonio naturalistico della nostra
terra.
Anche l’assessore Mussner ha posto l’accento
sull’importanza del lavoro realizzato con la creazione del
sentiero naturalistico al quale hanno dato il loro contributo non
solo geologi e scienziati altoatesini ma anche del Tirolo del Nord.

Dalla fermata dell'autobus al Passo Pinei lungo il sentiero fino
all'Hotel Panider Sattel/Passo Pinei, seguire la segnaletica
“Geotrail” lungo il sentiero tracciato 3a. Dopo ca. 1,6
km e all’altezza di 1550 m il percorso si dirama con il nuovo
percorso di collegamento che giunge alla vecchia strada di Bulla a
ca. 1470 m. Seguire la strada fino al paese di Bulla (1500 m) da li
proseguire per Zaramin 1603 m e infine ritornare al Passo
Pinei.

LH Durnwalder und LR Mussner eröffnen Geotrail in Pufels
LPA - Mit den Gesteinsschichten an der alten Straße ist
Pufels weltweit berühmt geworden, denn dort ist eine der best
erhaltenen Schichtabfolge vom Erdaltertum ins Erdmittelalter vor
etwa 252 Millionen Jahren aufgeschlossen. Die Schichten lassen sich
am neu angelegten Geologensteig bestaunen. Landeshauptmann Luis
Durnwalder und Landesrat Florian Mussner haben den Geotrail Pufels
am 22. Juli öffnet.
Der Geotrail Pufels ist ein
neuer Geologensteig zwischen dem Panider Sattel und Pufels im
Grödental, der rund 300 Millionen Jahre Erdgeschichte
veranschaulichen soll. „Auf dem Steig wird Geologie greifbar,
erlebbar und erwanderbar gemacht und das Weltaturerbe Dolomiten
weiter belebt“, erklärte Ludwig Nössing, der bis vor wenigen
Wochen Direktor des Landesamts für Geologie und Baustoffprüfung
war.
„Viel zu oft fahren oder gehen wir an den Besonderheiten
unseres Landes vorbei und beachten die Natur zu wenig“, sagte
Landeshauptmann Durnwalder. „Auf dem Geologensteig mit seinen
acht Infotafeln in vier Sprachen soll ein Teil der Erdgeschichte
nachvollziehbar werden, denn wer die Heimat besser kennt, schätzt
sie auch mehr“, unterstrich Durnwalder.
„Die Chancen der Zukunft sind in der Natur zu finden“,
betonte Landesrat Mussner. Der neue Weg stehe nicht nur für das
Zusammenspiel Zukunft, Geschichte, Bildung und Kultur, sondern
verbinde auch auf europäischer Ebene, weil nicht nur Geologen aus
Südtirol, sondern auch aus Tirol am Projekt beteiligt waren, sagte
Mussner.
Landeshauptmann Durnwalder und Landesrat Mussner nutzten die
Gelegenheit, dem seit einigen Wochen pensionierten Direktor des
Landesamts für Geologie und Baustoffprüfung Ludwig Nössing für
seine wertvolle Arbeit im Geologiesektor zu danken.
Angelegt wurde der Geotrail vom Landesamt für Geologie und
Baustoffprüfung zusammen mit dem Landesamt für Naturparke und der
Gemeinde Kastelruth mit Unterstützung der Universität Innsbruck.
Anhand von Schautafeln haben die Professor Rainer Brandner vom
Institut für Geologie und Paläontologie der Universität Innsbruck
sowie Lorenz Keim vom Landesamt für Geologie und Baustoffprüfung
die Entwicklungsgeschichte der weltberühmten Dolomiten,
mittlerweile Unesco-Weltnaturerbe, einfach und anschaulich
skizziert.
„Wir haben mit dem Geotrail nicht nur einen schönen Wanderweg
dazu bekommen, sondern auch einen Lehrweg zu Geschichte und
Geologie“, freute sich der Fraktionsvorsteher von Pufels
Ambros Hofer.
Der Geotrail ist ein in rund drei Stunden leicht begehbarer Rundweg
für alle, die sich für Geologie und Erdgeschichte interessieren.
„Starten kann man von der Bushaltestelle am Panider Sattel.
Dort folgt man dem bisherigen Wanderweg 3a und dann der alten,
aufgelassenen Straße nach Pufels. Von dort geht es hinauf nach
Zaramin auf 1603 Meter Meereshöhe und schließlich wieder zurück zum
Panider Sattel.
„Auf den Tafeln sind der Werdegang des Dolomitengebiets, die
berühmte Perm-Trias-Grenze, die Schichtungen im Allgemeinen, die
Werfener Schichten, ein Panorama Außerraschötz-Seiseralm, die
Pufler Überschiebung, die Landschaftsformung und der Bersturz von
Außerraschötz veranschaulich“, erklärte der Geologe Lorenz
Keim.
„Mit den Gesteinsschichten an der alten Pufler Straße ist der
Ort Bula-Pufels weltweitberühmt geworden, denn hier ist eine der
best erhaltenen Schichtabfolge von der Perm/Trias-Grenze vor etwa
252 Millionen Jahren bis in die Untertrias aufgeschlossen“,
erläuterte Geologieprofessor Rainer Brandner. Die Perm/Trias-Grenze
bedeute die größte Zäsur in der Entwicklungsgeschichte der
Lebewelt, denn über 90 Prozent der Tier- und Pflanzenarten sind an
dieser Grenze weltweit verschwunden“, sagte Brandner. Durch
den Geotrail können Interessierte lernen, Entwicklungen zu
verstehen und aus der Vergangenheit für die Zukunft zu lernen,
meinte Brandner.
Der neue Geotrail wurde von Pfarrer Vitalis Delago gesegnet und ist
nun für alle Wanderfreunde geöffnet. Zum Geotrail wurde zusätzlich
eine Broschüre herausgegeben, die im Tourismusbüro St. Ulrich, in
den Gastbetreiben von Pufels und im Naturmuseum in Bozen erhältlich
ist.
