Geocache Description:

This one is on the river so we are hoping that this location will be as flood resistant as possible. The difficulty on this cache is high only because you need a boat to get to it. Once you find the location the cache is fairly easy to find. Be warned...you will want to bring some gloves because of the poisonous plants.

This one is on the river so we are hoping that this location will be as flood resistant as possible. This is our very first cache and since we enjoy canoeing we wanted our first cache to require the use of a boat. The difficulty on this cache is high only because you need a boat to get to it. Once you find the location it should be really easy to locate the cache. We picked this location because there is a good view of IN 37 from the river. It is close to the end of the canoe trip that we usually take on the White River. Take a camera with you for this trip. There is a big bald eagles nest just before you reach this cache.

Parking and Boat launch for the start of this trip down the river is located in Waverly off of SR144.

***WAVERLY ACCESS IS NO LONGER A DNR PROPERTY. THERE IS NOW A FEE TO LAUNCH THERE***

You will be ending the trip at the Henderson Ford Road Public Access point. The trip is about 7 miles long and takes between 3 to 4 hours depending on the river current.
