Another cache located near the campsites of Sugar Lake Forest Rec Site 2km
This is a really nice forestry campsite with 50 sites. Even very large motorhomes (40 footers) can park in a number of the sites and the road getting there is only wash boardy for the last km or two! You can swim, boat, waterski, fish or just suntan at this lake.
There is a trail head near campsite 31 (N50 22.518 W118 31.612). Walking this trail will bring you to a really nice view as well as a Yurt (okay, another woven wood structure!). Some people may feel adventurous and tent for the night near here or just have a picnic.
There is calculated room for another hide or two in the area. Can you get them in? One on the pennisula and perhaps one north of the swimming area?
