The Drop


Welcome to Bomb.Shell's 3rd cache!

I have hidden this cache here at the drop, no one really notices it here. This cache is a Regular clear container, it contains a log book & swop toys for children, Please read the warning's below!

The Drop
The drop regulator is one of the largest structures in the irrigation system, It hold's water for diversions into the Berrigan Main Canal, which supplies up to 3,000ML a day to the northern part of the region. The remaining flows - up to 6,000ML a day, continue west through The Drop's 3 radial gates, falling four meters over the spillway.

Hydro Power
The energy of this falling water is being captured through a hydro power plant on the southern side of the regulator. The hydro plant can generate up to 2.5MW of electricity, enough to supply about 1,500 house holds. The hydro plant at the Drop is a joint project between Murry irrigation Limited and Pacific Hydro Power and is the first commercial project on an irrigation channel in Australia.


WARNING... If you have children with you it's best to keep an very close eye on them, as there is a very busy highway and there is water close by the cache, it's very important to avoid bringing them or to keep an very close eye on them!!
It is also very possible that snakes are around this area, be very careful with children. And you will need to bring a pen along with you.
