From the parking lot at Brushy Peak Regional Preserve, head up the Brushy Peak Loop Trail to find this cache. If the day is hot, you may want to rest in the shade for awhile before looking for the cache.
This Tupperware container is within about 50 feet of the trail. The thistles are fierce: wear sturdy shoes and jeans. Watch out for rattle snakes, too. And ants. And if the cattle are already bedded down in the shade, you'll have to try again another time. This trail will also lead you to other caches in this park.
