Geocache Description:

Our second cache is a take off on our first cache called Trackside. That one is at Tunnel Hill in Southern Illinois. This one is an easy walk and grab. There is a paved walking trail that will get you within 100 feet of the cache. You are looking for a regular sized ammo box.

Calvert City has a great parks. We have spent many hours here for baseball practice and games. This is also where go each year on Independence day, The fireworks are great and there is plenty of blanket space on the ground for everyone. For a small town calvert City has great family activities.

There is a paved walking trail around the complex that is a nice place to walk and enjoy the sound of young people having good old American fun.

There are a set of rail road tracks running parallel to the Northern section of the walking trail. This is the reason for the name. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO GET ON, OVER, OR ANYWHERE NEAR THE TRACKS TO GET THE CACHE.

Sorry, there are no tunnels here like there are at the original Trackside. Maybe after logging this one you will consider a short trip to Southern Illinois to bag that one as well.

The cache started life with:
Log Book
Two Pens
Assorted SWAG for the kids.

The first to find (FTF) prize is a GEOCACHING.COM windsheild decal. It is clear with white lettering so it should look good on any vehicle. After buying it I figured out that the top of Jeep's windsheild is too dark for the words to show up from the outside. I hope it will work better for the new owner.
