Cachen befinner seg nær toppen av Blåtinden - populært kalt Den sovende soldat. Fjellet har fått dette tilnavnet på grunn av den karakteristiske profilen du kan se på vei til Tromsø på det meste av veistrekninga fra Nordkjosbotn til Laksvatn. Du ser soldaten med hjelm liggende med lukkede øyne.

Det kan parkeres ved grendehuset på Kantornes, på parkeringslomme nedenfor veien like ved (N 69° 23.066' E 019° 17.241') eller ved veien vel 300 meter lenger sør der stien til fjells tar av fra veien.

Cachen er en Lock&Lock-boks på 350 ml med følgende originalt innhold: Loggbok, blyant og FTF-sertifikat.

The cache is located near the top of the mountain Blåtinden, also called Den sovende soldat (The sleeping soldier). The mountain has been given this nickname because of the characteristic profile you can see by the way to Tromsø on most of the road from Nordkjosbotn to Laksvatn.

You can park by Kantornes grendehus (community center), at the small parking below the road nearby (N 69° 23.066 'E 019° 17.241') or by the road just 300 meters further south where the trail into the mountains takes off from the road.

The cache is a Lock&Lock box at 350 ml and contains originally log book, pencil and FTF certificate.
