Geocache Description:

The 9th Annual LIGO Summer Event!

Come join LIGO and the Long Island Geocaching Community for a day of fun, food, and Geocaching!

Details:
Date: Sept. 3, 2011 Sept. 18, 2011
Time: 10:00am - ???
Location: Hoyt Farm Park, Smithtown, NY
 There is a $7 parking fee for non-residents of the Town of Smithtown to park in the main lot, but there is an alternate entrance with street parking if you'd like to avoid the fee. See the additional waypoints below.

Hoyt Farm Park is a beautiful facility with a huge playground and water park for the kids, a game farm, and of course hiking trails throughout!

We will be set up in the covered picnic pavillion.

 If you would like to contribute to the food, or have anything you would like to donate as a prize (ie: ammo cans, Lock & Locks, unactivated TB tags or coins, etc.) please click on this link which will take you to a sign-up sheet. There you can see what's still needed and indicate exactly what you're bringing. More details about the event will be posted as the date gets closer so keep checking back.
