New Rutherford County Visitors Center

Welcome Center Welcome Center

The Visitors Center features state-of-the-art technology and covers 1,000 square feet, with another 11,155 square feet dedicated to Rutherford County Keepsakes gift shop and offices for the staff. Two visitor kiosks provide information on lodging, dining, shopping and attractions in an easy-to-use touch-screen format and an iPad serves as the electronic guest book.

A Civil War timeline exhibit gives visitors a glimpse into the rich history of the area and depicts the crucial role that Rutherford County held in the Civil War. In addition, a Rutherford County mural showcases points of interest for visitors.

The Visitors Center is now open every day and conveniently located just off exit 76 on I-24, thirty miles southeast of Nashville, and just across the street from the Embassy Suites Hotel and Conference Center and The Avenue® Murfreesboro shopping destination.

HOURS:
Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.
Saturday 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
Sunday 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
