Day 2 of our Sea 2 Sea trek. The cache is in the middle of the impressive ruins of Zavit. If you Park at Abirim, there is a path that brings you right there. It is not an official path but rather a makeshift path with a white – yellow – white marking. None the less, the ruins are amazing including the well that has water all year round.
Once at the ruins, take your time to take a look around but be careful as there are some pits in the area.
The cache is hidden inside a small boulder that looks like a skull (!) It is off the beaten path so don’t hesitate to walk well in too the ruins.
The cache is in a plastic container with an orange lid, raped in a white plastic bag.
The cache is named in honor of Avigail Cahen that was part of our trek group doing 100Km in 4 days from the Mediterranean to the Kineret.
