By 2010, life for Northwoods geocachers had fallen into a routine.
Someone would put out a cache, and Cheezehead would get FTF nine
times out of ten. If Cheezehead put out a cache, FTF was a toss-up
between maybe three or four cachers. Long story short, we got
comfortable—TOO comfortable.
Then, a little over a year ago, Pair-o-keets burst onto the
scene, taking the Northwoods geocaching world by storm. They soon
shrugged off the title of “newbs” by racking up the
smiley faces, beating seasoned veterans to FTFs, and placing fun
and inventive hides that baffled even the most watchful of eyes. In
a very short time, they’ve managed to make themselves
indispensible to the Northwoods geocaching world.
This silver ammo can commemorates pair-o-keets 1,000th find, but
don’t think we’re going to make it easy on you! First,
you have to crack "The Millennium Code." Congrats on another huge
milestone, and good luck.
PLEASE give pair-o-keets the opportunity to score FTF on
this—after that, it’s fair game!
