Hard to believe there was no cache in this state game land! This is our favorite view of the Susquehanna. Our trek with a 4 and 5 year old takes about 1.5 to 2 hours round trip. Don't worry, the view is worth it.
Please park at the coordinates below and stay on the trail, finding the trail waypoint before heading to the view coords. At one point the road turns slightly into private property (near the trail waypoint) but you are allowed access on the road. The view from the second set of power lines shows the Susquehanna at about a mile wide. From here follow the trail into the woods and go up the stone steps. The view from the porch is our favorite; don't walk this far without seeing it! Please sign the visitor book, although this is NOT the cache!
Don't get too distracted. You are still looking for a cache. Container is an ammo can with some swag and an FTF prize. If you've seen the movie, you'll know where to look for Aslan.
