Geocache Description:

After World War II was ended, this area became a part of Camp Drake (Asaka Camp: A base of US Army). Afterward in 1973 to 1978, Camp Drake has been returned to Japan and reconstructed to many public developments. This park is a one of them.
There are tree groves, plants of flower, grass field, and jogging tracks in the park. I recommend you enjoy forest bathing in the groves and also bicycle riding.
This cache has been concealed near the parking. And also this spot is entrance of the park, be careful to muggles while searching!
It takes around 15 minutes on foot from Wako-shi Station. Shuttle bus is operated from this station (bound for "Nishi-ohwada-danchi"), and get off "Shihou-kenshujo-junkan Nishi-ohwada-danchi" bus stop.

和光樹林公園は旧米軍朝霞キャンプ（キャンプ・ドレイク）跡の一部に開設された自然公園です。約20haの広い敷地の大半は樹木と芝生広場、ジョギングコースで、子供向けの遊具はほとんどありませんが、森林浴が心ゆくまで満喫できます。また、公園内は自転車でサイクリングも楽しめます。
このキャッシュは公園の北側にあるパーキングのすぐ近くに隠しました。公園の入口にあたる場所のため、タイミングによっては人がたくさんいます。マグルの視線にご注意を!
