This is on the Horse Farm Heritage Trail. Its also accessible from the walk/bike trail but the crossover will be challenging. They have opened a horse trail from Serum Plant Trail Head to Co Rd 600 with plans to extend it on to Hazelrigg. HORSES HAVE THE RIGHT OF WAY...
We were fortunate to run into a gentleman who is on the board overseeing the development of the trail. Today he was doing maintenance on the horse trail. People are welcome to walk there also but need to be aware that horses have the right of way. It was from him that we heard the trail should be finished north in Boone Co. by years end. Colfax has been actively working on plans for the next section as it moves into Clinton Co. and big plans are being made and started for the trail through Lebanon and south to Zionsville.
The cache is a lock-n-lock with log, pencils, trade items and a $ for FTF.
DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS CACHE FROM THE ROAD..THERE'S NO PARKING THERE AND PRIVATE PROPERTY NEARBY..DON'T DO IT
