Geocache Description:

NONE of the caches are over any fence from the park, or near them. Please do not cross into adjacent property or search along the fence line.
Some neighbors have noticed the traffic. Let not give them cause to complain.

DURING HEAVY SNOW, SOME OF THE CACHES MIGHT BE DIFFICULT TO LOCATE, NOT ALL. I DON'T WANT TO SHUT THIS DOWN FOR THE WINTER, SO PLEASE USE DISCRETION GOING OUT. HAPPY CACHING!

Welcome to the Millennium Power Trail.

This is the longest continues stretch of open trail left in all of Denver area to create an Urban Power Trail. It's not as long as those out on the plain's, but it makes up for it in proximity. I have made a variety of cache styles, sizes and difficulty levels to keep it interesting. So don't get to comfortable with any one cache style.

The terrain varies from shaded park to open grass fields, flat ground to hills. Be ready for a long walk or bring a bike and join the high speed muggles coming and going. Bring water and a flashlight in the event your going close to dark, no street lights out here after dark, other than the park itself.

On the rare occasion that I leave the path, please be extra careful not to trample the area. I have tried to stay out of the tall grass for the most part, but a couple hides are just over the mowing line. I have done some tree hides only where I had no better choice, all of them are accessible from the grass, no need to get scratched up to badly climbing in.

The trail can be accessed by more than one location depending on which way your coming.

#1 The parking lot at the starting point, The Village Green Park, at Dayton St. & Dam Rd.. It's open dusk to dawn, don't let your car get trapped.

#2 The park and ride just east of Yosemite and I-225, park in the lot and walk over the bridge to cross I-225.

#3 The park and ride at Parker Rd. and I-225. Look for the trail access going under the freeway/light rail to the southeast of the parking lot.
