Up On Topper Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

MentalBill: Had second thoughts about archiving this cache. Fond childhood memories.
That is until I got up to GZ.
It is horrible. The California grass has taken over. The last 200' took me 30 minutes. Took longer to get out because I tried to take a "shortcut.".
If I am not willing to go back up there why would I want other Cachers too?
RIP topper

Geocache Description:

Up On Topper

This was my backyard as a kid. I wanted to place a cache in one of my favorite places in the world. Kalaheo Hillside. Over the years the hillside has changed so very much. But the one thing that never changed was the goal. Get to the top. Why? Cause it’s there. To make getting to this cache much easier. Some of the local bicyclists have cut a path for you. How nice of them. It is a bit of a maze to the top but just keep heading up and you will get there. There is a really weird fort that has been built next to GZ. I don’t know why, but it is there. Once you are at GZ please be careful and watch your step. The trail can be slippery with debris. I rated it as a 4.0 difficulty for this fact. FTF prize is a limited editon MentalBill pathtag. Congrats to mielkme on their FTF. Since you are in the area. You might as well visit Go Mustangs GC1RTQ6. Park at N 21 24.695 W 157 45.293 will make you life easier. Remeber to show respect to the residents at the trail head.
