Maynardier Ridge School
This is the location of the old Maynardier Ridge School
located on Maynardier Ridge near Jennings Maryland.
The Maynardier Ridge School was first built in 1825
this was the local school for the area. It was a one room school house that taught the local children the "R's".
The School was sold in 1986 after being vacant for years and was converted to a Church. The church service was held in the one room with a wood burning stove as the heat source and a outhouse restroom.
In 1995 the addition was added to the old school house, the old school part is being used as the Children's church.
