The Quest - Bush Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Antheia: This cache has been unavailable for a considerable period and as the owner has not responded to logs I am archiving it.

Guidelines: "As the cache owner, you are also responsible for physically checking your cache periodically, and especially when someone reports a problem with the cache (missing, damaged, wet, etc.). You may temporarily disable your cache to let others know not to hunt for it until you have a chance to fix the problem. This feature is to allow you a reasonable time - normally a few weeks - in which to arrange a visit to your cache. In the event that a cache is not being properly maintained, or has been temporarily disabled for an extended period of time, we may archive the listing."

Please avoid geolitter by removing any remaining traces of your cache or contact a local cacher to do so for you. If you are having difficulty doing so then please contact me via my profile and I will try to get someone to assist. This is particularly important if your cache appears to contain Travelbugs or Geocoins.

If you wish to email me please send your email via my profile (click on my name) and quote the cache name and number.

Geocache Description:

Location- bush on public footpath near the pub. Container- small holds log book and smaller items for trade. Accessibility- suitable for those with pushchairs and wheelchairs. Parking available nearby on roadside or at Weston village hall at the start of the quest.

Located in a bush near the pub. The building was originally intended to be a mansion for William roper however William roper soon found himself in debt from building it so only a third was built and still remains as the pub you can see from the impressive size, that had the house been fully built it would have eclipsed the size of other houses in the local area such as Aston hall and supposedly would have rifled even places like chatsworth for size. The cache container is small so holds a logbook and smaller items for trade. The cache is fairly close to a pavement and road so is suitable for those with pushchairs and wheelchairs. Parking is available for those who wish to perform a cache and dash on the roadside but as it is part of a larger trail you can park at Weston on Trent village hall.
