[EN] This cache brings you to the Udánky Forest, where there used to be a small water castle from the 13th to 15th century.
[CZ] O puvodu a vyznamu hradiska se nic nedochovalo. Jednalo se zrejme o vodni hrad franckeho typu, ktery byl v nasich krajich ojedinely. Vezovity hradek ze dreva a kamene stal uprostred umele vyvyseneho hradiska chraneneho vodnim prikopem nekdy ve 13. az 15. stoleti. Udanska tvrz byla pravdepodobne zemanskym sidlem, jemuz prilehal hospodarský dvur. Jeho poloha vylucuje moznost, ze by se jednalo o vojensky nebo strazni hrad.
Hradisko puvodne lezelo mezi zemedelskymi pozemky, pozdeji pusty hrad a jeho okoli zarostlo lesem. Jemu vdecime za to, ze se torzo hradiska dochovalo do dnesnich dnu, v polich by bylo jiz davno zorano.
V terenu je dodnes patrny system vodniho prikopu a umele vyvysene teleso hradiska.

Kes je klasicka lock & lock o objemu 0,5 l. A je schovana na zrejmem geomiste.
[EN] Nothing is known about the origin and significance of the castle. It probably was a water castle of Frankish style, very rare in this country. The towering castle, made of wood and stone, was standing in the middle of the fortified settlement, protected by the moat sometime between the 13th and 15th century. The fort of Udánky was perhaps thegnly seat with a farm. Its location does not confirm the castle could military or guard castle.
The fort used to be surrounded by agriculture lands, later the abandoned castle and its surrounding was in the forest. Thanks to it there is the ruin of the fort, otherwise it would have been destroyed by agriculture activities.
The ruin of the moat and higher body of the fort is still visible in the terrain.
