Geocache Description:

I have completed and submitted a form to the Guelph Lake Conservation Area Superintendent for permission. The cache came back Approved.

THERE IS 1 PLAYING CARD TAPED TO THE LOG BOOK. YOU WILL NEED THE # FOR THE FINAL CACHE.(Not published yet)

The cache is a lock and lock container hidden along the shores of Guelph Lake in the Guelph Lake Conservation Area. Parking is available at the side of the road. From the road you will find the cache 1 meter from the grass along the side of the road. There are some neat sights to see there. There are some goodies to trade – remember to trade evenly! NO theme for this cache. Enjoy. The island is off limits a coulple weekends of the year. Please obey! Please stay on the marked trails. Remember to CITO to help keep the park clean! Educational Message: This cache is hidden in a beautiful part of the Guelph lake conservation area. The cache will bring you outdoors to a location that’s very peaceful and quiet right beside Guelph Lake. Guelph Lake is a man-made reservoir right on the Speed River, in the Township of Guelph/Eramosa. It is located slightly northeast of the city of Guelph, Ontario. The reservoir was created in 1974, when the construction of the Guelph Lake dam started. The area is part of a 1,608 hectare (3,971 acre) conservation area maintained by the Grand River Conservation Authority.
