Named for the
town in which it hides.
If you've
come this far, you have experienced three very different terrains.
Getting to this cache is definetly the most challenging. It is a
little steeper and the long, flat rock formations on which you have
to walk can be quite slippery.
You will pass
an old, weathered sign that might seem menacing at first. However,
I studied it carefully and it is a warning to whomever is cutting
the trees. Perhaps the Lorax wrote it.
When you
reach this section, you'll find a lovely spot and a little cache.
This spot has that certain 'je ne sais quoi' that really touches
me. I felt very peaceful here and even found time to meditate
awhile in the late morning sun.
I hope you've
enjoyed your little trek up "my trail". I feel very fond of this
area because a)I found it. b) it is beautiful c)I've been here
several times now just to reflect.
While the
cache itself is winter friendly, once these rocks get icy there
will be no climbing---or do it at your own risk. Be safe, enjoy,
leave only footprints :)
