Dnes evanjelicky kostol ma vezu s romanskymi zdruzenymi okienkami z prvej polovice 13. storocia, lod a goticku viacuholnikovu svatynu prestavali v rokoch 1342-1347. V rokoch 1360-1380 vyzdobili freskami cely interier svatyne, plochu vitazneho obluka a pravdepodobne aj interier lode. V 15. storoci pristavali na severnej strane dalsiu lod a sakristiu. Po poskodeni Turkami kostol v roku 1635 prebudovali a stredoveke nastenne malby zakryli vrstvou omietky ci vapenneho nateru – az v roku 1894 ich objavil Istvan Groh a v rokoch 1901-1907 ich aj zrestauroval. Vo svatyni a na vitaznom obluku su malby z poslednej tretiny 14. storocia: vyjavy zo zivota Krista: Narodenie, Posledna vecera, Ukrizovanie, Kladenie do hrobu, Oplakavanie Krista, dalej tu uvidite Posledny sud, postavy apostolov, cirkevnych otcov, svatcov, Korunovanie Panny Marie, postavy prorokov a anjelov.

The present evangelical church has a tower with Romanesque double windows from the first half of the 13th century, the nave and the polygonal presbytery were reshaped in 1342-1347 during a gothic rebuilding. In 1360-1380 the whole interior of the presbytery, the triumphant arch and likely the nave were decorated with frescoes. In the 15th century a northern nave and a sacristy were added. After Ottoman invasion the church was rebuilt about 1635 and the medieval wall-paintings were covered with plaster and limewash untill Istvan Groh discovered them in 1894 and restored them in 1901-1907. In the presbytery and on the triumphant arch there are wall-paintings from the last third of the 14th century: scenes from the life of Christ: Nativity, the Last Supper, Crucifixion, Entombment, Lamentation of Christ, followed by the Last Judgement, Apostles, Church Fathers, Saints, Coronation of the Virgin, Prophets and Angels.
