This park is an institution which is the park new also in the whole country saved in order to hand down to future generations by considering as teachings some houses damaged according to the mudflow disaster of Unzen Mt. Fugen which happened August 8, Heisei 4 to 14. This park can be located in the foot in Mt. Fugen, and can command a whole view of the newest "mountain" Heisei new mountain in Japan.
