This is a cache located in a small park on the outskirts of Crows Nest. Easy to get to and available 24/7. Please take care when replacing the cache.
The Aboriginals knew this area as "Tookoogandanna" meaning "Abode of Crows" Many teamsters, hauling mainly timber would camp here for the night. Some would be loaded, while others would be empty depending on which way they were travelling. In the evening, stories and news would be told around the campfire of the hard life that they led. These pioneers helped to open up this great country that we enjoy today.
