Ross was a miner who came to Holcomb Valley during the 1800's Gold Rush and died a sudden death from a saw accident. His grave is near the cache.
Lovely Holcomb Valley is easy to get to, provided you don't mind a bit of bumping along the way. Click on my photos for shots of the general area. Watch for snakes and have fun!
