Geocache Description:

INTERNET CONNECTION REQUIRED! This multi-cache takes you around the beautiful lakefront of Yellowknife's downtown. Take some time at each point to enjoy the scenery and the history of this northern capital. Solve the clues to receive the combination to the cache. Not winter-friendly.

This is a 5 step cache.

Step 1: Navigate to N 062° 27.267' W 114° 22.757' and count the black posts with chains attached that you can see from the waypoint (not a continuous connection). Add 1 then divide by 2 and then add 8. Find the letter in the alphabet that corresponds to this number for clue #1.

Step 2: Navigate to N 062° 27.333' W 114° 22.616' and count the flag poles. Don't forget to look behind you. Knowing a little NWT geography may help. Add 1 and then divide by 6. Find the letter in the alphabet that corresponds to this number for clue #2.

Step 3: Navigate to N 062° 27.428' W 114° 22.763' and look to the left of the glass sign listing the names of fallen miners. You will see a stone memorial on the ground. Add 6 to the number of men that perished on September 18, 1992. Find the letter in the alphabet that corresponds to this number for clue #3.

Step 4: Email [clue #1]1a[clue #2]3[clue #3]@gmail.com and wait for response containing the combination to the lock in cache. May take up to 1 minute to receive your response.

Step 5: Navigate to N 062° 27.355' W 114° 22.846' and use the combination from the email to enjoy this lock'n'lock cache full of small trinkets.
