Well Snuffy has been promoted to corporal now. And he had a box as a corporal too. Below is the text of the dialog between Corporal Snuffy and his sergeant:
Snuffy: “Sarge I found another box when I was on guard duty last night”
Sergeant: “Snuffy you found one when you were a private and it has been hard for any one else to find. Did you get better directions to this one?”
Snuffy: “Yes Sarge I got really good directions to it”
Sergeant: “Well Snuffy lets hear it”
Snuffy: “Well Sarge I started here” (pointing to map) (coordinates listed above)
“I was standing out in front of the a building that has a big white number on it, well I remembered the number. (Lets call that number Y and it has 2 digits A and B in that order.)
Sergeant: “Ok Snuffy I know the building you are talking about, so is the box there at the building?
Snuffy: “No that is just where I started walking to get to the box. I walked in only two directions. I used my compass and walked ((A/B) x Y x 100) mils and I walked (Y x 100) mils.
Sergeant: “Snuffy, I am getting impatient with you. How far did you walk in each direction?”
Snuffy: “Well Sarge I don’t really know how far I walked but I know I walked really slow but constant A.B km/hr and I walked exactly (A^B) (raised to the power) minutes total. (1/B) of the time I walked (Y x100) mils and the rest of the time I walked the other direction. Once I got to there I could see the box but I had to walk 3 meters east and 9 meters north to get it”
Sergeant: “So if I go and walk out there at same speed as you and for as long I will find the box too”
Snuffy: “Yes Sergeant, you will find the box.
End of Dialog
Well you guessed it, the number is still on the building and the box is still there. This may look complicated but the building number will help it all fall together.
