LavaLizard: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

You are looking for a small altoids container at the site of an old dwelling.

The cache is on the Corral Canyon Loop Trail in Corral Canyon Park. It's pretty noisy at the trailhead because of traffic on the PCH, but you only need to go a couple of hundred yards to get away from the noise. It's a very pleasant 2.5 mile loop hike.

You can read about the trailhead and get a map of trail at Sara Wan trailhead. There is a $5 fee for parking at the lot at the Sara Wan trailhead, along with water, picnic areas and restrooms. There is also free parking on PCH north (west) of the entrance (past the restaurant).

Bring your camera - there are some great views of Malibu and the ocean from the trails.
