Polez snecku Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

janstuchlik: Keš by potřebovala hodně rozsáhlé opravy. Jenže umístění vychází z logiky trasy a kdybych ji chtěl dát na nějaké bezpečnější stanoviště, musel bych posunout i všechny šnečky. No nic, vydržela poměrně dlouho, pobavila docela dost lidí, ale její čas je u konce. Takže archivuji.

Geocache Description:

Tahle keska je inspirovana vtipem:

Leze snecek na strom. Leze jeden rok … dva roky … tri roky … pet let … deset let. Najednou mu uklouzne svalnata noha a snecek spadne. Kdyz se probere z otresu nervove uzliny (mozek nema), rika si: No jo, prace kvapna – malo platna.

Nekomu mozna tenhle vtip muze pripadat detinsky.

Polez slimacku
Na vrchol hory Fudji
Ale pomalu

A ted ke kesi.

4.
Stromy pojmenovava snecek uplne stejne jako my. Leda, ze by se spletl.

Jeste poznamka pro ochrance prirody:
Pri priprave kese nezahynul ani jeden snek. Byli uz davno chcipli.

-----------------------------

This cache is inspired by a joke: The snail is climbing the tree. It climbs for one year … two years … three … five … ten years. Then its leg suddenly slips and the snail falls down. When it overcomes the commotion of the nervous ganglion (it has no brain), it speaks to itself: It is good for nothing to hurry too much.

Someone can find this joke childish. It is his or hers problem. But anyway, Mister Buso (at least I believe it was him, but I cannot find that book) moved the same story on much higher artistic level.

Come on, little snail
To Fuji mountain summit
But do not hurry

But I should tell you something about the cache now:
At the first stage you will find the snail starting its journey, which took about 20 years. You can manage it much faster. Maybe within one hour. But you should know couple of things, which are sure, evidence based, but not accessible by Wikipedia or Google.

1.
The snail moves on the ground by the speed 1 meter per hour. Its speed is absolutely constant and it does not depend on the weather. By example, when the ground is icy, the friction is lower due to the ice, so the snail could move faster, but at the same time the snail is cold and that makes it slower.

2.
The vertical movement of the snail is 8 776 times slower than horizontal. To say it simple, when the snail climbs the tree, it takes 1 year to climb 1 meter.

3.
The next thing is probably connected with the shape of snail’s shell. The snail believes there are no circles, just spirals. When the snail turns by 360 degrees and then it continues turning, it has no meaning to start counting from zero to it.

4.
The snail uses the same names of trees like us. But the snail can make a mistake, of course.

The last piece of information is placed here for the environmentalists. No snail was killed during the cache preparation. All of them were dead long time before.
