Geocache Description:

This cache site use to be one of Paragon the Original owner of “The Mile Rock Walk”. I had tried to keep it going when I had seen it was temporarily disable but it still got archived.

I liked the write up that Paragon did so I cut and paste it for all of you to read his story about the site.

"The Mile Rock Walk", is a short walk, if you use the supplied parking co-ordinates. (about 300m)
WARNING: This cache can be very slippery in cold & wet weather. USE EXTREME CAUTION in traversing the rock formations anytime.

Located just south of the town of Cobalt, this cache is a prime example of how stories get bigger with age. As a youngster I was told this rock travelled back 1 Mile from
the entrance point(parking co-ordinates), but it may be closer to 1 mile measured from the center of Cobalt itself.
Well I'm willing to say that the trail could have grown up and become covered in the many years, so as a CHALLENGE after finding the cache, see how far you can follow the ROCK ridge.
I personally have found it 100m past the cache, but there was still 1 1/2 feet of snow on the ground when I attempted this...... Paragon's Mom says it used to go as far as the Railway Tracks???? How far can YOU track it???
The Mile Rock is an interesting glacial rock outcrop that is like the back of a dinosaur or whale and runs in a ridge line back into the bush. It gets harder to track the further you go, this is why I put up the challenge.
USE EXTREME CAUTION as the rocks can be very slippery in cold and/or wet weather.

I have never personally gone too far past the cache it self.

The cache container is a large peanut butter container with an outer shell.
