Geocache Description:

Take a trip back to this area before the RTP brought in all the high tech business. Lots of evidence of tobacco culture and the necessary support facilities. If you wander further you will find the graveyard of the behemoths. No doubt from the early period of RTP. Even further is a modern facility which may just go the way of the tobacco barns given the trend for outsourcing. If you go past the sewer line to the east the land is owned by the Research Triangle Foundation of NC and Research Triangle LTD. I checked. Just take a peek from a distance at a nice little pond.
