Geocache Description:

Ft. Lamar Preserve

From the parking area, you can take a self-guided tour. Be sure to pick up a pamphlet. The area once was the site of a Civil War fort.

From the designated parking area, please be sure to use the trail. Please be sure to cover the cache up as you found it! We don't want this one to go missing like the last one did! Thanks! Note: If you take a Travel Bug from this cache (an item with a numbered metal I.D. Tag), please remember to log that you have it and place in another cache as soon as possible. Travel Bugs may be cute but they are not to be kept. They are meant to continue on their journey from geocache to geocache.
