Geocache Description:

Fourth in the series - Blandsville. This is a small.

This series is geocaches located in all the towns in McDonough County. I even included two towns that no longer are considered towns (Pennington's Point and Scottsburg). According to the 2010 census McDonough county population = 32610. McDonough County is made up of 18 townships with 15 towns/villages and 115 accounted for cemeteries. 5 of the townships are occupied only by cemeteries.

Bethel 15 cemeteries
Bandinsville - 9 Cemeteris (Blandsville)
Bushnell – 2 cemeteries (Bushnell)
Chalmers - 8 cemeteries (Fandon -used to be called Middletown)
Colchester – 7 cemeteries (Colchester)
Eldorado – 6 cemeteries
Emmet – 15 cemeteries
Hire – 5 cemeteries
Industry – 14 cemeteries (Industry)
Lamoine – 4 cemeteries (Colmar)
Macomb – 7 cemeteries (Macomb, Bardolph)
Mound – 3 cemeteries (New Philadelphia)
New Salem – 2 cemeteries (Pennington's Point, Adair)
Prairie City – 2 cemeteries (Prairie City)
Sciota – 1 cemetery (Good Hope, Sciota)

Tennessee – 7 cemeteries (Tennessee)
Walnut Grove 6 cemeteries (Scottsburg, Walnut Grove)

In this series you will find Caches that are commonly placed. There are some P&G's, Bush wacking, nano's, micros and smalls. There a couple of caches that require some ninja skills and even one that may require a little acrobatics if you are a vertically challenged person. I hope you enjoy finding this series as much as we enjoyed placing them. The drive between caches shows a beautiful view of our farmlands.
