Located on a public footpath called Hare Drift, in the village of Long Melford.Ample parking is available behind the Garden Centre, which runs beside the Hare Drift footpath.Walk down the wide path, and then locate the cache, after approx one third of a mile, after the footpath rises to the right hand side, and then carries on straight. Cache is hidden in and around the branches of some old fallen trees.
Opposite the entrance to Kentwell Hall, at the top end of Long Melford, is the popular Garden Centre. Turn into the Garden Centre entrance, and slowly bearing left, park or walk into the car park.
The Hare Drift Public Footpath is adjacent to the car park, and is easily accessed.Walk down the wide concrete path, with trees and hedging on either side, and carry along for approx one third of a mile.As the footpath rises to the right hand side, it then starts to straighten out, before finally reaching the gate and bypass ahead. Having reached the top of the rising footpath, look out for fallen trees, with fields located on either side. There is no need to enter any of the private fields, or walk more than a few arms lengths from the edge of the footpath, and there are no wildlife or animal habitats to disturb. The cache is completely hidden, but is easily found with some simple tree handling.
