Geocache Description:

This is a pretty straight forward cache. Terrain is easy and does not require a lot of walking. Cache is in 2.5 gal. bucket.

This is my first attempt at hiding a cache and I hope it is enjoyable. I chose this area because I have always found it to be very interesting and one that few people know about. The day I hid it there were a couple of families exploring and some joggers but generally it is pretty deserted. There is a DEQ enviromental warning sign en route to the cache. This sign is for the site of an old creosote plant that is about 1/4 mile past the site of the cache. When you get to this sign you must park your car and continue on foot (mind the no parking signs, you may want to park on Willamette). From the sign, the cache is about .25 mile.
