Maurholmen ved Godøysund liggjar i eit vakkert
skjærgardsområdet. Heile området er ei naturperle kor ein kan gå
tur, fiskar og badar. Det er mulig å komme fram med båt eller
bil.
Mauerholmen sjølv har ein del stiar og ei fin badevik. Den
ytterste delen av homen blir kalt Verdens Ende og her har ein
utsikt over Bjørnafjorden. På Maurholmen står også restar av ein
gammel grunnmur. Her skal det vært planlagt ein sommerresidens til
tidlegare statsminister Christian Michelsen.(Kilde: Notat frå

Når ein kjører med med bil kan ein parkere før brua, ved vegen,
eller etter brua på parkeringsplassen. Brua er veldig smal! Frå
parkeringsplassen fører ein sti heilt fram til cachen. Cachen er
small (plass til små bytteting) og inneheld logbok og stift. God
tur!
"Maurholmen" near the island Godøysund lies in an idyllic
"Skjærgård". The whole area is a natural pearl where you can go for
a walk, fish and swim. It`s possible to come there by boat or
car.
On "Maurholmen" you can find some footpaths and a nice bay. The
outer part of the island is called "Worlds End" and from there you
have a view over the "Bjørnafjorden". Here are also rests of an old
foundationwall.
If you come by car, you can park before the bridge in the
wayside or after the bridge on the parking area. The bridge is very
narrow! From the parking area leeds a path to the cache. The cache
is small (could room small items) and contains logbook and
pencil.
