Twin Rocks Cache Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

medoug: The container is in bad shape and doesn't stay very well in its hiding spot. It seems like a good time to have this cache end. I have retrieved the old container. The nearby earthcache will continue.

Geocache Description:

This cache takes you to a local landmark. The two interesting rock pillars in the road ditch have had the name Twin Rocks” since shortly after the area had been settled. While there, you might want to also check out the other unusual rock structures along this road which are especially visible when leaves are not on the trees and shrubs.

Driving directions: You will need to take gravel road B60 (a.k.a. Eagle Ave. and Farmersburg Rd.) from either nearby Farmersburg or the Gunder Road (a.k.a. Co. Hwy X16). Please park safely on the road shoulder or at the additional coordinates provided while searching for this cache.

The cache: The cache is a Lock’n’lock type container with a logbook, pencil, and starts with several nice trade items. Please sign the log, trade fairly, and return the cache to its original location and state of concealment for others to enjoy.
