Geocache Description:

Cache is located along a nice walking trail with a great view of some eskers and the Chippewa River.

An esker is a long winding ridge of stratified sand and gravel, examples of which occur in glaciated and formerly glaciated regions of Europe and North America. Eskers are frequently several kilometres long and, because of their peculiar uniform shape, are somewhat like railroad embankments.

With the variety of caches and nice area you are sure to enjoy this series.

This is a tree climbing cache. Look up and you will see it before you climb. We made it easy to find and fun to get to. Have fun signing the log.

This cache was guarded be some ferocious chipmunks so prepare to defend yourself. They were definitely eyeing up our geodog Pepper for a quick snack.
